I'll have a look tomorrow, all the plants are about the same size so there is a high chance there will be more.

A couple of plants have more than one bud This plant will flower too early, for your show, the other plants in your pics look ok. the two side buds should be removed when they are just big enough to handle, without damaging the central bud. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It is when the buds are about this stage we start to remove the side buds or grow one of the side buds and remove the others. Taking a side bud out. Leaving the one bud. Then we look down from the bud to the next pair of leaves to see if we have any growth from the leaf axil. We remove these. Then before the buds start to show colour we have to put a ring of vaseline round the flower stem just above the pair of leaves we had removed the growth from in the leaf axils.

Why do you put vaseline on them Tel?

That is all very clear Tel, thank you, I managed it all easily. I tied all the string round as I went.
There were three plants which had side buds.
I will keep a daily eye on them now, this rain will make them grow.
