We are very lucky that we don't seem to get many up here, hopefully it will stay that way

Since seeing a couple of LB's some weeks ago, squishing them and then spraying all my lillies with Provada, I haven't seen any more which seems strange. I keep checking but no nibbles anywhere

I haven't had a huge quantity so far this year, for which I'm very grateful.

Same here Geranium. There are none on the pots and only a few in the garden. I would use a bug killer if I need to. I think they are only just warming up. We have had some cold nights.

I suspect you're right, Cherry. I do check my lilies twice a day, so I'll be ready for the little blighters!

Fingers crossed, I've only squashed 2 so far this year so maybe the weather has kept the numbers down so far.

I have only had about 6 which is not bad for this time. The pots of lilies are quite clear.

Found (and squished) 2 LB's on my Crown Imperials today, seems very early for them

Ooh peony, you can have the prize for the first lily beetle. We should all start looking now.

I killed a lily beetle which was a very long way from any lilies and sitting on a hellebore leaf.

So it was a very confused lily beetle then...We still don't have them up here
