This is the view of the back garden when we first went to view the property. Overgrown with brambles and bindweed, the couple of shrubs were choked with bindweed and the tree at the back had bindweed at least 10ft into the tree. The hut at the bottom of the garden the door was off and the floor was rotting away, we could not get round the back of the hut because of all the brambles blocking the entry to the back. The view down the left hand side of the garden The view down the right hand side. The palm like a lot last winter was killed off. After i cleared near it, we found a new shoot from the base. When we took the hut down i used some of the wood to make a section of fence, the white door on the left hand side of the pic is where part of the fence was missing at the back of the hut. The greenhouse was re-erected where Brenda wanted it, i know whats good for me so no argument on its siting from me. When we cleared the right hand corner at the bottom of the garden, under all the bindweed and brambles we discovered two small Pieris one is called Debutante o idea what the other is called. Pieris Japonica, Debutante. This i think is also a Pieris I think the next project after connecting the electric to the greenhouse will be making the paths when Brenda decides where they are going. Then i cannot see a lot more of the garden been done until spring time.

The garden looks completely different already. The greenhouse looks brand new. This will obviously be Brenda's garden.

A updated pic of the greenhouse, the heated mat is now on the bench. A path laid down the middle. A narrow bed made on on the left hand side, Carmen Cucumbers in there next season, unless Brenda decides differently. ;D

First priority - get the greenhouse up and running, how sensible of Brenda! Will you let the Cordyline stay now it's shooting, Tel? I don't suppose you know what else is in the garden - maybe there are some nice surprises to come - bulbs maybe?

I did dig up some snowdrop bulbs while i was removing bramble roots, they are in a pot now, until we decide where to replant them.
