Just been chopping up guinea pig's tea and realised i hadn't shown off my mixed lettuce yet ! so tada ! it's growing really lop sided but im not sure if this is because i just need to move it around as only one side is getting sun and i should probably allow each side equal amounts ! i'm a little unsure about wether im wanting to repot them outside or just move them to a bigger pot and keep them inside untill i can sort out those pesky slugs ! also my tomato is getting massive although in this picture it doesn't look much bigger than last time but nevermind, it's grown alot and im not sure if you can see but theres a few dead flower heads that have dropped of nearby and fingers crossed they'll start growing soon, is it bad that there all on this one small area of the plant ?

Your tomato is growing to schedule Twiams and the lettuce looks good. Mixed leaves by the look of it. The tomato is changing now. It looks whiter, which comes just before turning pink.

Put fertilizer on it just a little to help the little tommies along.

Put fertilizer on it just a little to help the little tommies along. This may sound odd, but would guinea pig poop make a good fertiliser ? two of my piggies are on fleece and i sweep there poops up daily and they only end up in the bin, they make alot of poop, would be good if i could a) put it to use, and b) let them earn there keep

You can certainly add it to a compost bin or heap

You definitely need a compost heap Twiams, but anything will do. You can even dig a hole and use that. I can't do without mine. I love my compost. I wish you lived near here. We have farm fertilizer containers which would do the job in your smallish garden.

Piggy poop is okay for tomatoes and anything that sets fruit just cover it with a bit of potting mix everytime you put some of it in the pot But I wouldn't use it for the leafy veg like lettuce and anything that has tubers like radish and carrots and such twiams

I have a compost caddy ? i think thats what it's called it's like a small one you collect things in and put in your kitchen, as we give all out waste to someone else who has one, im considering being cheeky and asking for some of his compost, he want's my food in it, i want payment with compost ! ;D haha
