We've forgotten to put our female lab in a pen when she was in heat Mom is a yellow lab and dad is a black lab. We already have Mikey a yellow lab puppy that my daughter got for her birthday and now the little ones are also up and about all day too. We'd prob end up having to get all of them spayed/neutered at the vet so we won't end up having a gazillion labs a few years from now.

they are so sweet jrae, are you keeping all of them We might end up keeping all of them depends on whether they pass the K-9 training or not. Our labs were "retired" K-9 dogs from the army and the guy who let us adopt them said if we want to the puppies can go to the K-9 school when they're 8 months old and the ones that get to pass training would have to live with their handlers and those that don't will get to go home.

What a good idea Jrae. That will get good homes for most of them.

I took my daughter to a friend's birthday party. The kid had her birthday party at this plantation that's being rented out for special occasions. They even had horses available for those that want to try horseback riding. However, most of the mares were badly malnourished. Made me want to try to take them home. I even asked if they were for sale and left my contact info with the caretaker. I hate people who don't take good care of their animals.

Thanks Cherry, Steve. I need to plant all of them before September when we have a flower festival in our community -- last year I got 4th place in the landscape competition -- but that was when they just gave each of us a small spot in the town square to pretty up. Now we have to fix up our place as the judges will be visiting home gardens instead.

It does look good - I can't see any soil - that's 'my' sort of planting. Less space for weeds to grow! ;D

Oh Geranium, Grindle those are the plants I still have to put in the ground -- they're all still in polypots/growbags I just took them out of the shadehouse to harden them off. I hope hubby doesn't have anything planned this weekend as I'd need help planting all of them. I don't really have a plan I'm plan to place the dwarf bamboos near posts to cover it up and flowers along the rest of the fence.
