That will be good Lesley. Have you seen this friend since that time? Only since the last few years we try to meet up at least once a year, she lives about 60 miles from me so we meet half way.

Well, the new trowel OH got me off the net had a hissy fit at being used to remove the dreaded pink geraniums. First I felt it bending, then the blade started to part company at the joint. Anyway, off I trotted to the GC, and I now have a new one...with no joints! OH is going to attempt to weld the other one, as we can't remember which seller we got it from. I also found a pair of light-weight shears, which will be wonderful because I'm finding that my decent (good quality) ones are too heavy and hurt my chest. As they only cost £6.95, I doubt if they'll last long, but they should help me in the short term.

Sometimes, it isn't necessarily the price which governs quality Geranium. These lightweight shears might be a really good buy.
