It is called Candy Jayne. I wanted to order it but it is not for sale this year because there are not enough tubers. :-(
I think that I like it is because it is absolutely nothing like anything my Dad would want to grow. I described it to my Mum as being a Dahlia that looks like a tin of paint had been thrown at it.
So my fingers are crossed for next year.

Wow! Most of the larger blooms with speckled petals have coarser markings, but I like the fine lines on that one.

Wow Lesley, How did you get that? Super bees? Do you have any idea what the parent flowers could be? It is strange that they both have such similar markings and yet be different types.

Moonlight, have you plenty of money to throw around ? If so you could buy it from Clearview Dahlia's. 7 dollars for a tuber, but it is 40 dollars for postage and inspection certificate.

Cherry, I think it is a bit like last minute Christmas shopping when you know exactly what you want but all the shops have sold out. Don't tell my husband I was up that late. ;-) he won't be impressed.Tel certainly have not got oodles of money but as my Dad is going to do an order anyway and I really like this dahlia I had planned on adding to his order but I emailed Clearview Dahlia's and they have told me that they won't be selling it this year because they don't have enough tubes which is disappointing but obviously fair enough. Hence my search continues...

Hi Moonlight, mine came from garden centre, this year it has produced a huge clump of tubers, earlier this year I took cutting for the first time and they both took.
