You can get tubers of hillcrest duncan edwards direct from the raiser Les Jackson for £15 per tuber.I think halls are charging about £4.50 a plant.

I've done the few pot tubers I have (12), but am doubtful I will get many cuttings; they are very small.....size of 50p piece

Have decided not to bother with the very mini pot tubers. I'll buy in what I need and if they do sprout....that will be a bonus. Most of what I want I can get from Station House £2 per plant and £5 delivery and packaging...with no limit on numbers. Thats pretty good.......am off for a browse ;D

My Ruby pot tubers have not done very well this year, only 3 out of the 8 i saved is any good. My own fault because they never got going because they were smothered in weeds. Will pop down to the allotment greenhouse tomorrow, i did leave some ground tubers in there, now if there is any Ruby among them, i shall have to see.

I know that Sion is growing a few extras that aren't in his catalogue as he hasn't grown them before, but i know where the stock came from

They just didn't develop well Tel...in the past the tubers filled the pots, but last season....well we know what last season was like
