Been there, found out - it was Dahlia 'Hootenanny' and the posters were Tel and Rosie.
PLEASE will one of them put the photo on the thread??? Or someone who knows how to get it?

Oh good they worked but are quite big sorry, hope its ok? We are lucky as at Ayletts which is only 30 mins away they have the trial fields open and also for a couple of weeks have a dahlia festival.Last year the theme was Wizard of Oz and the displays were fab!

It was in September last year I think, it was on there website when they decided on when the trial gardens were open too
