Oooooo...how exciting ...I'm sure it will do well. Whats the next stage; did you have to send in a pic?....does it cost you anything? if your application is accepted when do you have to "deliver"? The only cost is for posting them to the trials coordinator, or i can take them to the trials, on planting out day, on the 11th JuneI have opted for the latter, a good excuse for a good chin wag when i take them. ;D The planting out day at the trials, as been brought forward to Wednesday 8th June, good job i am not working i would have to book a days holiday. ;D

Not long now then, good luck Should find out October time if it will be worth keeping for showing, or just use for garden purposes. Not tried it without covers, if it stands the weather it would make a good one for the garden if nothing else, so i would definitely keep it for one thing or another.

I received a email from the Leeds dahlia trial's co-ordinator today with the results of the trials. Terry Cotta finished in 21st place, not too disappointed with that. it was less than 2 points behind the certificate of merit places. I will see if i can grow it as a small dec next year.

I have no pics from this years trials, this is the first time in 15 years i have not attended at least once in a season.
But i have the results of the gold and the silver cultivars
