Tubers to go to Dad: Amber Festival, Hillcrest Hannah - top priority because they are the girls. Garden Friends - because it is special. Willo's Violet - the one which had the sport. Edwin's Sunset - lovely red Kenora Valentine - because it is stunning I think my 2 keeper seedlings need to go to Dad to give them the best chance of survival. Candy Jayne and Clearview Jenny after all that fuss getting them to grow from the US.
The rest I need to talk to Dad about, for example my Nuland's Joesphine was much better than his (and mine was a cutting from a tuber) and I need to know which pom varieties he has, no need to double up.
Night All

We put our Christmas tree up yesterday, the girls squirrelled off with most of the misc decorations and quite a lot of tinsel which is now upstairs in their bedrooms.
We now have 2 small real Christmas trees that Father Christmas gave the girls last year when they visited him at his grotto last year, out front. "Whose Christmas tree do they belong to Mummy?" "They don't belong to either of you now - they are our Family Christmas Trees"
There are 3 reasons for this: 1, We don't know which tree was passed to which daughter - so saves a huge row But also... 2, They all sat and carried on watching telly, while I was planting them in the dark with the pouring rain pelting down on me. Considering I was planting them on the patio in front of the French doors, so that they could at least watch (as they were not keen to come out and help - don't blame them on that one) but the spell of the programme that they watching was too powerful, so all I got was a brief glance each time I asked: "What do you think?" 3, They pretty much ignored them until I brought them in to decorate but I'm happy to state that each member of our family add some baubles.
So that's my reasoning - they belong to our family.
Happy Christmas Everyone finally beginning to feel a little Christmasy

Update Message from my Dad 1 of my tubers is missing a label. grrr judging by my powers of deduction (not a reliable source) It isn't Amber Festival or Hillcrest Hannah - girls in different container, Edwin Sunset is in a big black flower pot, Fred 3 and Fred 4 are in different sized black buckets, Candy Jayne and Garden Friends are both pot tubers. Which leaves Brenda T and Clearview Jenny that were in the blue drawer tubs. My money is on Brenda T but then it could be Clearview Jenny... Scotland Yard, don't worry I won't be applying for a chief detective position any time soon.
p.s. Tell I have no idea how I managed to miss Garden Friends off of my original post. Rest assured it was tucked up with the girls' tubers as it is super special.
