Thanks folks. No harm leaving it so watch this space ....... Sorry I've been off here for a while. My baby granddaughter is just adorable and I've been doing a regulart 'nightshift' with the feeds to give my daughter a rest as she has yet to go back into hospital so just got generally busier.

Just to update you folks. I reported on here in 2016 that I thought my Wisteria had died after many years. However, on further investigation I found a single stem hidden behind an Hydrangea. I decided to leave it to see what happens, and this year it has about 20 flowers on it the most I have ever had. Patience and trust paid off.

That's good news libralady, they can be very temperamental can't they, mine has been flowering nicely for the last couple of years, it seems to like this garden better than where we used to live.

Hi Sue, the Wisteria really has been lovely this year and maybe it also liked all the rain of the past 12 months. That rain, unfortunately, saw off most of my lovely pastel coloured lavenders which had been doing so well. Conditions were far too wet for them. Luckily, managed to get a few cuttings off the couple that survived so hope they take.

Hi everyone, I need advice again please. Decided to start off some Ammi Majus for next year. They have germinated indoors but nothing much happening since. They are still in the cells I sowed them on 4/9 but not grown much. I don#t really know what to do with them as they look fragile. I was hoping to put them in my mini greenhouse till next Spring. Any ideas please?

They're hardy libralady so should be O.K. if you put them out in the mini greenhouse, I've got some biennial seedlings in my cold greenhouse at the moment & they are doing well. The main problem I have is when slugs find them & treat them as a salad bar!

OK Sue I'll do that, many thanks. I noticed a snail in my mini greenhouse but removed it to somewhere else. Don't like anything creepy or slimy.
