name dropping, that made me laugh ;D and a bit chuffed that you didn't pretend you didn't know me  The general consensus from friends and family down here was not enough garden, not enough about gardening for wildlife and I was very together and far too clean (I'm not sure if the last bit was a compliment  What the hell did they want to see, some old duck that looked eccentric and filthy ?  |

What the hell did they want to see, some old duck that looked eccentric and filthy ? That would be me on a normal day ;D We go to two boot sales on a Sunday, I was asked if it was me on GW by four people in the morning and two in the afternoon, all were complete strangers. This month hasn't been to good on the anonymity front  The first man said "I saw you on GW and hoped you could help me with a few things". I couldn't really deny it was me this time and luckily I had the answers he was looking for. All the others just wanted to talk about my kind of gardening which was fun. |

I just brought this subject back up because I totally missed the programme as I hadn't been on the forum & haven't watched many episodes of G.W. as we've been going out a lot on Friday evenings & have been recording Corrie on the other side. I'm so glad I checked on here & found the link to watch it here. You were great Sue & as the others have said you came across very relaxed & natural even though no doubt you didn't feel it! Your garden looks lovely, bigger than I imagined & your pond looked enormous! Glad they caught lots of your little visitors on film, I love the vole on the bird table. P.S. didn't realise from the other photos on here before what lovely long hair you have, L'Oreal adverts next - 'because you're worth it!' |

Thanks Sue, the hair is probably down to the silver highlights I had put in at enormous expense ;D The more time which elapses between me and the program the less embarrassing I find it. I would not do it again though. If you fancy a wander around you'd always be welcome, I can't promise the garden will be as tidy or I will be as clean.  |
