The long tube with my replacement parts arrived yesterday. I made the driver wait until I checked the parts , Guess what , same damage as before, the plastic ripped of the end and the white cap must have fallen of the end of the tube again as one of the parts was slightly damaged ( just fixed it with a soft cloth and pliers so hope the builders will be satisfied with it when they return in two weeks to finish the job. ) some of the replacement clips and screws were also missing but they are re sending them. We have found that 4 glazing bars are too short so have sent photos to Elite for advise . It`s strange that all the glazing bars are cut straight across even those ends usually slanted on other greenhouses I have had . I`ll post a pic , maybe someone has a solution . All the other bars fit ok and the joints seem ok too

That's not good is it ladybird especially with the prices they charge for these greenhouses, I can't help with the problems as I've never put one together myself but hopefully Elite will come up with a solution when they get your photos.

Anyway Elite have been great phoning and emailing me with updates of what they will do. They are sending me replacements again making me 4 new bars and chamfering them at the ends. The builders are back this coming Monday to finish the job but we havn`t opened the glass crate yet...... it will get sorted eventually .

nearly finished . We ran out of bolts and screws , about 40 short . Ordered some from Elloughton-greenhouses at 4 pm which they posted immediately and arrived first post next morning as they promised , now thats impressive . We found the missing clips and capping screws in with the glass so as they had already sent us replacements I`ll post these back . Glazing finished and all fitted well, except for all four of the angled panes at the gutter/roof area front and back, totally the wrong shape and must belong to a different greenhouse , so had to sent for replacements and that will probably take a few more days. So the builders have done all they can and have gone home one with a roaring red nose ( I do hope it dosn`t blister )

We just had terrential rain for an hour during which I got drenched going up inside the GH to check for leaks. Not one leak from the roof so the capping bars are doing a good job of sealing against rain. Some getting in at the base though not much . I`ll probably seal around the edges with silicone. The tables I made for the old GH look a little cumbersome , thought very sturdy , so I might make new ones to fit along the sides. A final picture with the doors on. Just waiting on the 4 panes of glass and a small piece of flat bar, that was short, to secure the door track ends. Then the last bits of bar capping and with the free down pipes on we`re done . I`m just appreciating the emptiness so I don`t re-clutter it inside

You can always stretch out in it while its empty and enjoy the sunshine. You won't get sunburn under glass
