They will disappear in time Lesley. I had to get rid of rhubarb by mowing it when we moved here. It interfered with the washing line. I have circles of daffodils in the grass and husband tries to reduce the number every time he mows. Thanks Cherry, do they come back next year

The more you mow them the more damage you will be doing so they might come up weakly next year but I don't think you will see them after that

The alternative if there are not too many would be to dig the bulbs out and replace the turf.
