[fontsize="6"][/font]was at the garden centre today they had an offer on compost by manor farm looks good stuff 4.25 a 60 litres sack he is selling it a2.00 a sack I bought25 and am going for another 25 tomorrow I use a fair bit as I pot all my tubers and cuttings in5inch pots then plant the pot in the garden then when I lift them the end of the year I put the compost into a bag and put some tatie sin so I have some decent spuds very early

Can you let me know how you get on with this as you sow/pot on etc I can get this at 3 x 60 ltr for £7.99- then hopefully a 25% staff discount on top and delivered. If it's not full of recyclable material and water drains instead of sitting on top I will be happy. Thank you rob

Well have used about 50bags of Manor compost and I have to say my dahlias are the worst they have ever been really disapointed in there growth hope they make a decent tuber as I planted them ib pots into the ground will just have to give them plenty of feed

Well after using Manor Farm composition has been rubbish got 10 75 ltr sacks of compost 4.60 a sack buthavefound a place closer doing 60ltrsacks 3 for a10nner

I used some of the Manor Farm too and didn't find it that great, it also sprouted toadstalls round my tomatoes

I hope it wasn't some of that washed grass clippings that I got last year..... totally useless for proper gardeners like ourselves.

Clover It's the best you can get Rob. A lot of the Dahlia growers on here use it. Nice peaty stuff, no recycled stuff in it. Even the general purpose compo is top notch, the 'pro' slightly better. I use it for seed sowing, cuttings, potting up and even hanging baskets. Being 75ltr bags makes it even better value.

I got 1075 ltr sacks for 46 but 30 mile round trip 3x60 ltrs a10nner and on me door they usually have 75ltrs but Got 60s will get another dozen
