I like the yellow one too. I think you would have had a very good day at Halls Lou78W.

I like the yellow one too. I think you would have had a very good day at Halls Lou78W. We were only there a relatively short time as it was not the weather for "browsing"...It was just really to get my "dahlia fix" for the season as we didn't get to Harrogate this year

It was lovely in the fields today- butterflies were out again believe it or not though not as many as a few weeks ago. Thanks for putting those pictures up. Lifting of chrysanthemums has gone very well over the last couple of days- almost 2000 stools lifted and trimmed! The yellow collerette will get another try next year. The chocolate red (is that a good description for the colour?) with the dark eye has been widely commented on, and impressed David Brown when he visited- the gentleman featured in the recent Telegraph? article.

Just our luck dahliadave It would have been lovely to see the butterflies having a last feeding session!!. I'm pleased you are trying the yellow collerette again; is the "chocolate red" one getting another go? I managed to find a spot for the "Koreans"; they will give a bit of colour for a while yet.... a very under estimated plant IMO. Thanks for your time on Friday and the "masterclass" on judging!!
