We made a start on the front garden yesterday, took out 4 conifers, that was a tiring job. Planted up by the front fence. Before we started. Where we are now.The brown patches around the so called lawn is where the landlord caught it with weedkiller.

Are you going to leave the lawn as it is Tel? It seems like a good space for a raised bed or two for flowers

Get a few pigs and put them in it, they will make short work of the weeds ;D. My lawn is full of weeds, i don't let it bother me anymore they just get chopped down when its cut or i pull the leaves when i see them. Its looking good .

Some of the plants are now in, i could hear them sigh of relief when they were taken out of the pots they had spent the last 9 months in. Ordered a fence to place between our garden and the next door neighbours garden to stop our dogs running on their garden, the fence should arrive in the next two to three days, just in time for the weather to turn wet again.
