I love the colour of Jays, did you see the other day where Bee Eaters are starting to breed over here? they are really colourful, they say no young have been successfully raised yet but are hopeful the colony will get larger and permanent over the next few years

I don't get Jays in the garden but there are plenty in the woods where I walk Dylan, love seeing them

They are beautiful birds, it did come back again later. I did see the bee eaters on Autumnwatch steve, would love to see them, they remind me of a more exotic kingfisher!

It must be 'corvid week' around here, a very smart looking crow landed on the feeders a couple of times as well - I did see it getting chased off over the back field by the jay later though - 'get off my patch'!
