They look impressive,Tel. You will have as many as me in a bit :)I notice that you put a label in each one.I do mine in rows and just put a label at the top of each row in case they don,t all root.

Its just the way i have always taken my cuttings Derek, just like anything else, we all have our different methods. The main thing is we all get the result we are aiming for. ;D

I received my winter bulletin in the post today. The General Sec placed a little note in saying that their data base is different to the Northern Secs, but change of address has now been done. So a bit of reading now to catch up on. ;D

I was surprised to see in the Waterlily Championship at the National that Glorie Van Heemstede was one of the vases in the winning exhibit, that cultivar is 70 years old now.

My Terry Cotta expired along with Osirium , the rest are perfect, I know someone who has that variety, if you are nice to me, i will ask him for you, if he could help out. Who knows he may send you a cutting or two if i have a word with him. ;D

First ones rooted for me too. These were taken 20th to 23rd feb. Quite a few more look as if they are ready too. You can tell by looking at them when they are ready as they have firm leaves and put on growth in the tray quite quickly. They are considerably bigger than the original cutting. and a quick "tease out" confirms it Each one potted into 3" square pots ( same as the ones used for rooting). The compost used for rooting goes back into storage for use again....been using the same compost every year for donkeys years
