Any one for a cucumber ;D I've been saving these 4, for my show on Saterday, It's been producing a cucumber a week since the end of April, brilliant little plant but it's come to it's end now. I've got another 4 plants growing to replace this one, the next lot our Munch size.

They are awesome, i've wanted to grow cucumber before, but i wasn't sure how easy/hard it would be ? I find the mini type which are about a 3rd the size of a normal cucumber very easy as long as you don't start them off too early while it is still cold

In a warm summer (fat chance) they would be ok outside ;D there is an outside type called ridge cucumbers that are more hardy

I'll have to do a bit more cucumber investigating and see if theres any chance, if this summer is anything to go buy, cucumbers would never grow !

Sorry Twiams I didn't see your question last night, mine our all grown in the greenhouse, like Steve said you can grow them outside if we had some decent sunshine and not many slugs and snails.
