Twiams, I think you will have to put a mini-greenhouse on your birthday or wish list. You seem interested in salad veggies. Keep watching Wilkinsons because they have sales of garden products before the end of the season. Possibly someone on here would let you know when to look.

Sorry Twiams I didn't see your question last night, mine our all grown in the greenhouse, like Steve said you can grow them outside if we had some decent sunshine and not many slugs and snails. Thanks for getting back to me, i need a greenhouse i may try growing some in the solar dome at school that would probably be a nice growing spot

I've been keeping an eye on wilkinsons and also a shop called 'Buyology' that is a smaller version of a wilkos, sells things quite cheaply, they had a nice mini greenhouse in there for £20 and it had some layered shelving it was like a hexagon shape, it was really nice! Although my boyfriend kind of just rolled his eyes and walked away when i started looking at it haha.

I am reminded of the lady who was complaining that her tomatoes were not turning red. Her neighbour who had wonderful tomatoes said the secret was to go into the greenhouse naked every day which made the tomatoes blush and turn bright red.. She said she would try that and so after a week the neighbour asked how the tomatoes were. She said, ‘there is no difference but you should see the size of my cucumbers.’ ;D
