Yes, they've one of my students even emailed me that the "natives" are using smartphones like the ones my students had However the kids were sent to live in the old houses "communal huts" with no electricity so they know what it was like back then. I guess they aren't too pleased... I bet! ;D ;D

I have been pretty crook after getting very cold in Victoria and I am now taking antibiotics. I was lying on the couch with the dogs all day. What a waste of time. Oh well.

What a shame Cherry, hope you're feeling better soon. I always think planes are full of germs, maybe you picked something up on the way over? Do they still spray you before they let you off the plane in Oz?

Me too - what a shame! Well, today the chainsaws and/or log splitters will be back in the field next door, so I'm off out again to escape from the noise. I'm going to see Louise, and on the way I shall stop off to buy some Hyacinth bulbs. I want some for myself to plant in Mum's wicker shopping basket, which we've lined with polythene, and also some indoor ones to plant in bowls. I've been asked to share a table at a village market up in the village next Saturday. We're selling plants (of course!) and I just thought that a few planted bowls might be popular. If they're not, I can give them to people as 'extra' Christmas presents! ;D

Thankyou for the kind messages. I think must have caught it off the plane. It is hot here. I have moved to my elder daughter's beautiful house in Townsville. They are trying to make me better with a sauvignon blanc. It sure helps

The Chain Saw Gang didn't turn up yesterday, but I still went to Louise's. We sat in her sun-trap of a garden and nattered. ;D No time to hunt for bulb bowls, so I might have to forget that idea. I did get the hyacinths for Mum's basket, though.
