Happy Christmas Moonlight and the Moonie family keep on doing the diary you now have 100 pages and it will make interesting reading looking back for reference I've been thinking about that. I don't particularly want to start a new thread but would like to make a post with pointers about important / key parts of the diary because it is a bit tedious, trying to read back to know where those bits are.
Closed threads are dead threads and don't really like the idea of closing this one but have been mulling over it. Started it January 2nd, so if I am going to have to start a new one then I guess it would be a better time than a random one.
Don't have an answer, only mullings when I get a moment to myself and when I am not asleep. Usually when I'm on the toilet - sans computer.
I've run out of bandwidth on my image hosting and obviously I want free but I don't want to have adverts and I want quick because my brain works slow, when I am half asleep which is the normal time that I get to myself.
Anyway, my mullings on hold for now. I've got a box to look at............... cue sinister laugh: mwahahahah..... ok, about as sinister Count Duckular*......
* Look it up on utube if you don't get my humour or I'll explain when I get back. Depending on the success or failure in my mission to find a box that fits...........
Off now.... mwahahahahaha

I love my Husband he is a very clever man!
No the box isn't for him, it's a bit too small for him.

Well posted off the seed swap packet. HH was calculating how much it would cost to send it. He entered all the details and it came out at £37, which according to him would be the cost of a whole garden....
Maybe not.
So 1 posted and 1 left. P.S. I didn't spend £37.........

Christmas holiday is making me even more erm. (insert whichever adjective that sums my current sense of humour that you fancy) .....

I had some really thoughtful gardening presents this year.
Among the presents that HH & the girls bought me, I was given: 2 wireless thermometers with transmitters that can transmit a reading from up to 100 metres away. One for the greenhouse and 1 for the cabin. He would have bought me 1 unit +2 outside transmitters but the cost of buying just 1 extra transmitter was more than the cost of 2 complete sets.
Not quite got the settings sorted yet (one has a reading the other hasn't, so we think that it is the cabin that isn't reading but can't tell until I go down and check. Problem is I don't actually know which bit of the cabin I put it in.... so I have to find the transmitter.... before I can sort it out).
Once organised I'll also be able to read the min / max / current temp. so really good present, exactly what I was hoping for.
Very lucky Mummy.
HH also bought me a light on a stretchy headband. Just before Christmas I saw this jogger with a light on his head and thought it was really funny and laughed because I thought that he looked silly. HH was next to me and was thinking oh dear, she won't like her Christmas present but I do. It was a really thoughtful present. He knows that I've been fussing over my plants in the greenhouse in the dark, with torches. Cutting dahlias in the dark. Very clever present. I feel silly wearing it but I secretly like it a, because I can see where I am going and b, because HH understands.
A set of multicoloured solar lights. (Mental Note - Must put them out.)
Said I was very lucky.

Been re-reading my Philip Damp book. Having a bitter sweet warm fuzzy moment.
Better go to bed. Hopeful for the future, just hope that history doesn't repeat itself.

So there you go, Tommy is off on his grand adventure this morning. Just hope someone is in tomorrow to sign for him. Had him sitting on the settee with me last night.
Hope he is ok and likes his new home but most importantly I hope his new owner likes him.
