There was a knock at the door at 10am this morning. A man from Parcel Force, stood there with a big parcel, recognised who it was from, by the picture on the box. lol What can I say, Moonlight it must have cost a fortune to send a tuber that size. Thank you very much, that is the first American variety I have ever had. I will have to try and get it on the show bench next season.

1 tuber is going to go on an adventure. Trouble is whilst not frozen solid and no obvious signs of having recently been frozen solid. The soil that was supporting the roots in now firm which from my understanding is a good think from Dad but now Tommy tuber needs to go on a bit of a soil diet. He is currently sitting on my upside down picnic blanket with the hope that some of the soil will dry enough to crumble away. A bit.
He needs to hurry a bit, it doesn't make a particularly attractive centre piece in the lounge and I know that HH won't be impressed. Still won't be for long he has a lorry to catch.

Tel it might not be from America but in the words of Philip Damp: "A purple miniature ball that has excellent show form, and stems to match. A favourite with many exhibitors."
American tubers are due in March and they will be a lot smaller!
