Lou, I grew Fashion Monger two years ago, and thought it a lovely flower. Unfortunately it didn't survive the winter storage. Ordered the tuber again this year, but when it flower, it turned out to Fabula, not a happy man

'fraid not Ian. My show career was short....but quite productive. You know how time consuming it is and I had to prioritize. At least I can get to Harrogate, and cheer you lot on when you are getting ready for your shows....One good thing is I get to keep my nails nice...lol ...I'm going to try my hand at raising some seedlings next year....

Hello mate just got up

Started cutting down dahlias today as I am going away next weekend and don't get much time on a night after work.I want them all cut down by the weekend the clocks change and will then start to lift them the weekend after.

I have about 430 in Lou got half of them done this weekend.I like to get them ready to lift just in case the weather changes suddenly for the worst and once the clocks change I can only get up saturday and sunday after work.

Pip looks really good Ian, did stewarding at Harrogate this year and was given miniature decs, so got a first hand lesson into what the judges were looking for. Maybe give up on the min white, and go for red instead
