You were very brave candyblue. It might be a good idea to let the nurse at the surgery have a look at it. Oh dear @markymate. Another casualty.

I think you sound very sensible, except the bit about the chisel through the hand and not going to hospital - Still makes me cringe just thinking about it.
Jill doesn't think I'm sensible at all. She thinks I shouldn't be left alone with sharp instruments . Can't wait to her face when I start up my new chainsaw for the first time, think I'll wait till she's gone out Really???

Well yesterday I have cut half of my dahlias down, but didn't get to finish the rest as cut the top of my finger with the secateurs. Was really lucky as I managed to cut half way across the tip, another little bit further and I may have cut the whole tip off! Me being me wouldn't go to A&E on a Saturday but we managed to steri strip it together and its stopped bleeding so hopefully starting to heal now That sounds sore, hope it is not infected.

Last Wednesday, put a chisel through the palm of my hand trying to open a pot of paint. Like you, no point in going to A & E, would have bleed to death, before being seen . Fortunately done this after cutting down the dahlias Easily done markymate, lesson learned, let Jill open the paint next time.

Good evening Tel how many dahlias do you grow Evening Ian, I had around 300 this year on two allotments, but I am moving allotments at the end of the year, so will only have room for around 150 next year.
