Not quite sure where this should go, so admin can move to a more appropriate place. But there are a few pictures of dahlias in it Basically, I've got a new camera that does HD videos so I'll be able to do some nice clips of everything later on as well as photos. I've got two short videos, one straight from the camera, the other the same after a bit of editing, and the editing was the bit I wanted to show you, as some of you may also have cameras that you take videos with that may need editing. I used two programmes, that are both free.....Avidemux and Audacity. I loaded the video into Avidemux, and extracted the audio from it and saved that. I then put it into Audacity, where I edited out the noisy bits and changed the volume. Then, as a bit of fun, I mixed in an audio track with it, combined the two and saved it. Finally, the new audio went back into Avidemux where it was joined back to the video. Video 1 Video 2 edited Hopefully this will work. Next time I'll try it with some pink floyd

And here's another one, using Foto2avi. That converts photos into a movie. It can convert to lots of different sizes, can also convert direct to DVD format. You just choose your pictures, then add the audio, which is recorded by audacity.

I tried but the video was rejected for copywright purposes. However, in the allotment section it's allowed Queen so I've had a little play in there.
