Hello. I'm new to forum and to gardening, I really don't know a thing about it. I have never had a hobby so gardening is going to be one. I find it all really confusing, where to plant, food, watering, names, food it's never ending but think I will enjoy it. I'm really not any good at planting things in the ground. So starting in window boxes and pots. looking forward to learning from people on here

Hi Lillie, Welcome.. nice to meet you and I'm sure you'll get lots of help and advice on here.
I used to do a lot of gardening but not able for it now unfortunately. We all have to start somewhere and when I started I was like you..wondering what to do, how and when. I did find that getting a good seasonal book helped too as it talked you through each month.
Nothing better than growing your own food even if it's just the salad stuff at first. All the very best to you.

Hi Lilliepop. I only joined myself yesterday, so I'm new here too. Window boxes and pots is a good way start gardening, and move onto something bigger when your ready. The things I love about gardening are being outside in the fresh air, and the sense of achievement when you see your baskets and pots in bloom or pick the vegetables from the garden, or even just when you've done something and can enjoy looking at it.
