I think I have a peony that needs moving before I get the garden sorted is it wise to move it now

Perfect time of year to split and transplant perennials...the ground is still warm and they should settle well.

Well I have three to move as soon as I get round to it. If they don't like it then tough as they are being moved anyway.

The gardener said it wasnt a peony so he dug it out what small plants can i grow in the borders this time of year as I only have a philadelphus and a cameliea at the top of the garden also in the side border 2 roses
