Raymond, Kiwi will grow for you or it won't. It is a very easy variety to grow if it will grow to potential in your land stopped late June and grown 8-10 up fed lightly no potash feed at all and lots of water Kiwis like quite a light soil do not over feed and manure will make the blooms look like they have been through the spin dryer. Happy growing

Nice site but a bit irrelevant when it comes to how a plant grows for you. Only one way to find out and that's to grow it. No 2 people will grow the same variety the same way. If I grew Trelyn as Ian says they'd make a marvellous miniature for me.

As a novice I try to gather info from any source available.2014 was my first season and I didn't do very well. As I live near Wisley I am trying to achieve something good enough to enter the novices section. Learnt a lot from garden friends. I'll keep trying.

Quite good one with lots of info on seaweed based feeds. He used to be on here as cornishpaul. It said on his website he has had to stop growing dahlias due to health reasons

My soil is fairly light and drains a bit to well was going to add manure in the spring but could leave it out where kiwis would go. Similar soil prep to a Pom ?
