Raymond what does it mean by garden variety please? Are these non show types? My sister has just moved to Lincolnshire and through me I am passing on new knowledge (and fond memories of our parents dahlia collection )and maybe one day some of my own stock lol

Hi Cat by garden variety it means not the length of stem form petal count etc... Suitable for exhibition. nice dahlias though but not what is required for showing In terms of the classifications and ideals that judges look for. That is something I learned very early on after buying them all ! Hahaha pooh found and is nice a big and firm I had split it before I bedded it Down So will send on Thursday
