What type of flower pot do you use? And why?

Mainly square pots here......take up less space on benches when you are growing lots of plants. They stack easier as well....what about you?

I have a mixture only because I pick them up cheap at a garden centre. Now if I was buying new I like Lou, would go for the square pots.

I use square to 3 inch then on to round as you can pick up shuttle trays usually free at the gc for round 4 and 5 inch pots.

I've got both, but prefer the square ones for the same reason as Lou

Thank You, the reason I ask is because I need to pot the ones that I have in bigger pots but I don't want them to grow tall and lanky because they are fighting for room with each other but at the same time I want to maximise what I can get in the tray, due to lack of space.
Thought that I'd ask here because I certainly don't have the answer to that one and it is beginning to annoy me. I can't find pots that I want to use either. Currently have round purple ones. Christmas / Birthday present... my family know me very well.

The shuttle trays are good you can get them quite cheaply for the 3inch square pots or just use strong seed trays.all seem to be getting enough light and growing nice and straight and not to leggy. I an having a big sort out on Thursday Moonlight need to tidy and organise . Moving lots around . As got lots of plants coming on Saturday from plant sale.
