Hi Moonlight I have a hose lock 8lt sprayer it is very very good does what it says on the tin. There are sprayers at Aldi 5lt at a good price again they are ok my mate has one Hope you are feeling better Moonie. Thanks for that ian. Do you think that it would be a bad move to just go ahead and use my watering can as a temp measure to give them a dose of SB Plant Invigorator? (As the only decent sized sprayer was used for weedkiller? Even though it was washed thoroughly there is no way in the universe that I want to risk killing off all my dahlias.)
Still not 100% but I'll do for now. Too far behind as it is.

Hi Moonlight do not use the sprayer used for weed killer, you may think you have washed it out but the plants will tell you other wise. If you have a fine rose on the watering can go ahead but you will have lots of run off and will be quite an expensive way of doing things.

I'll (have to) wait until the weekend see if I can get a decent sprayer, the only rose I have is a regular one that came with the watering can. It's just that I am loathe to plant any more of my seedlings with the bugs bit torn because I really should do.
