Thought I would add pictures of some wild flowers I find to this thread as and when I find them through the year.

Greater Stitchwort (Stellaria holostea) is in flower in many bank bottom, hedge and ditch around me at the moment in both sunny and lightly shaded positions. Probably one of my favourite wild flowers of all that grow in the UK. The yellow green flower in some of the images is Crosswort (another favourite). Taken with mobile. Taken with Panasonic camera.

I recently planted another section of Yew hedge and the disturbed soil must have brought some seeds to the surface of this tiny flowered Forget-me-not relative called Amsinckia menzeisii (Fiddleneck).

I've looked into this further and the exact species appears to be Amsinckia micrantha rather than menzeisii. This would ring true as the flowers really are tiny! (3-4mm across). I had to use macro on this one!

Eggs and Bacon (Lotus corniculatus) just growing in some profusion at the edges of paths, mostly in an industrial estate near me.
