started planting the tubers and stakeing each one indervidualy,have bought the geotex stakes and bean netting for the plants unsure as to how im going to do it oh yes had to buy a blow torch to seal it ,its cost a fortune before I get a plant in the ground lol

Trying to put pics up but can't . |

Good luck robh and ste b looks fantastic . I start today no membrane or mesh for me will mulch with compost and manure and three canes for me per plant. First lot go in today. |

Well done Steve you have been doing some watering there haven't you, good mod there is not water meter on your plot. You look to be back where Stuart used to grow is that right? Looks good mate. Have you got everything ?

Hi got everything thanks there is a water meter and it's a pain, same place as Stuart but different greenhouse and it's a lot better then the other leaky one with no windows I could open overhead. Had to flood the beds before planting it was as dry as a bone. |

First lot in had heavy rain yesterday so soil underneath was nice and moist. All plants have had their bath as well. Just to water in and put pellets down. Main bed all small and medium semi cactus bar one medium cactus 29 plants in total. How you lot do hundreds I do not know ! I take my hat off to you.  |

Well done Raymond your plants do look good as does the soil, you do not need hundreds of plants, just look after the ones you do have really really well. Keep up the good work.

Thanks ian and ste b in the bed we have 6 greenways zoe, 4 ryecroft zoe, 2 Ruskin Andrea, 6 hillcrest candy I wanted 7 but one I don't like the root ball. 3 Ruskin Michelle, 2 grenidor pastelle, 2 narrows Sonia, 1 Ac Abby , 1 staleen condessa , 1 kenora sunset, 1 Allan snowfire. |

Now just to plant the rest of it. Wish the soil in the front bed was as nice. It is awful.

Started planting out today. All Weston Pirate dipped a la Ian and supports in place. First time growing Pirate.

Good luck diggie my first year with pirate and all these show one's. I will double stop pirate and all miniature cactus first stop on Saturday and next stop early July. |
