It will all be fine, in future though, I will remember to put my brain in gear before I open my mouth and agree to things like this.

They're just dabbing some powder on the end of Sue's nose now while they film her building another stone wall! ;D Hope everything is going well for you W.F.!

Well what can I say, I didn’t let the gardening side down, half an hour before the beeb were due to arrive Tel’s dahlias arrived, in my ultimate wisdom I decided I had enough time to pot them all up and clean up afterwards. I got mud on my jeans, jumper, hands and under my fingernails, the wind was blowing so most of my hair escaped from the plait and the beeb were early. Messy is what I do best ;D
They were here for about three hours and loved my garden. They filmed most of the visit on a small camera which was a little unsettling, not sure how I’ll cope with the proper sized camera. I asked who the presenter would be, it seems there is a high probability it will be Carol, I do hope so. They will be filming for a day and then it will be edited down to five minutes so I’m sure they will edit out all the bits where I completely disgrace myself. They might send a wildlife photographer down for a couple of days before hand to get footage of all the deer, foxes, bats etc.
The one thing they really loved was my peanut feeder filled with dog hair. They like to have one simple thing in each program that any one can do.

A little bit messy is more natural than too tidy. I am glad you got through the pre-filming part and you can put your feet up now for the rest of the day. Well done girl!

Glad it all went well WF. I hope Carol Klein films in your garden. She is a lovely lady, I met her when she had a stand at Harrogate a few years back and she was so friendly and helpful.

Soooooo pleased it went well Sue. I'm sure the Beeb would much prefer you to look "natural"....if Carol can have dirty fingernails then "our Sue" can as well. I'm sure you will be making a big "hole" in a bottle of wine this evening.......Enjoy...you deserve it
