Fantastic pics Fractal. I have never seen a Ruby tailed wasp. There can't be too many of these about. Do they behave like the normal stripey wasps?

Thanks everyone, I'm glad I managed to get these as have been after it for ages! Think "Cuckoo" Cherry and you pretty much have the lifestyle of this wasp. It lays it's eggs in the nests of mostly Mason bees.
