ZOMG... who would have thought that fish could be so COMPLICATED ? I think COMPLICATED was my attempt at adding larger photos when a smaller one is clicked on and loaded up. Took ages, quoted your O&O update, copied the quote (started worrying I was going to start adding strange posts to your Roofy threads) pasted the quote in my thread, deleted the quote marks, deleted the additional text, deleted some rows, the deleted too much, then got stuck with weird table with random text and still your photos, started again from the beginning and eventually got it right. I think in the future if the wind is blowing in the right diirection then I will a link next to the photo. p.s.For some unknown reason I started looking up the definition of ZOMG.

After spending all day waiting inside - I get a phone call saying the engineer wasn't going to be here until about 3pm. No I am not able to wait till then, No I am not able to do this evening. No I am not able to do Tuesday morning, or Tuesday any time or Wednesday morning... When can you do next? Thursday it is then... Oh well. That's a day at home wasted. humpf
Just typed in humpf in my search engine: It came up with: humph hʌmf,h(ə)mf/ exclamation exclamation: humph
used to express slightly scornful doubt or dissatisfaction. "Humph! I suppose I'd better take him"
I like that. Give me the regional accent and the definition is just about right. Must be a tad annoyed - use green for the text

.... then got stuck with weird table with random text and still your photos.... Yup.. sounds like one of my posts In regards "Humph", I think it is an excellent term Moonlight, and I may adopt it myself. In compensation for your Aquatic problems, I have made you your every own personal "Humph" emote.

Moonlight I think you're probably right & Queeny is the mum, well you did call 'him' Queeny because 'he' looked a bit flouncy & flamboyant & to be honest 'he' does look a bit 'rotund' in the photos!

Going to attempt to add a table with no help (well I can try)
So back to the 2016 plans - this time the Ball dahlias. (I'm sort of there with the Poms so not bothering with them for now. As pretty much Universally known I belong to a family who are adamant that only Ball dahlias that have traditional Ball shaped petals can be Ball dahlia (No confusion or ambiguity with Decorative dahlias such as Mary's Jomanda and Jomanda - to be avoid at all costs!). So I am searching for classical Ball dahlia characteristics that will be good enough to take on those Decorative 'Wolves in Sheeps clothing' and have a real chance of winning. As always I am looking for more than Red cards, I am searching for some good pollen choices for the Bee dna menu. A really good seedling would mean more to me than a 1st placing.
Downham Royal - miniature Ball - already has a Reserved position. Last year I tried Clearview Daniel and Shelia which is a sport of Cornel (when I told my Dad that he asked why not grow Cornel why waste your time with the sport?) Both of which were absolutely rubbish for me but I know that Dad is still growing Clearview Daniel. He never wasted time with Shelia. The other one that I tried was Blyton Softer Gleam. A really lovely dahlia and good enough to exhibit.
For 2016 I am going to do as my Dad had suggested to grow Cornel. Dark and red just my 'mug of Coffee' and I am getting my plant from my Dad.
A very, very kind man who I met at a show offered to give me a tuber of Carston Valiant (again as an alternative to Mary's/Jo) which he dug up and gave me at the next show. Some dahlia people are just so kind and generous; unfortunately as it was dug up too early it hasn't made a good tuber. This may be a blessing in disguise because it means that I can grow a couple of my Dad's ball dahlia seedlings and I've also been promised another good Ball dahlia. That I can add.
More to follow tomorrow - I'm tired and I need to get to bed I've got work tomorrow.

Now I think that the one that my Dad is going to give me is one of these two. They are both seedlings from 2014.
2014 number 21
2014 number 23
Lovely aren't they? Love the colours. I am going to talk to my Dad and see which one he was thinking of. (n.b. Could have got it completely wrong.) p.s. Yes I know that I was going to go to bed but I decided to just get it done rather than loose the files and spend another day looking for them.

They are stunning Moonlight, I wouldn't like to have to choose between them (even though I realise it's your dad who will be the one choosing which to give you).

Trauma at dinner time. Pirate spotted our fishy babies. Fairy is really excited but Pirate was sobbing. I don't if it is because she understands that our tank isn't big enough for lots more fish or because she remembers us telling her that the big fish eat the smaller ones. Whichever it is "It's the last thing we need to happen..." (Pirate "")
And to think that I thought that keeping fish would be easy.

Getting annoyed with myself can't find photos of all my Bill Seedlings (2015) that I am keeping for this year . Wasn't good enough at keeping my Index post up to date.
