Not sure where this should go but if it is the wrong place perhaps the staff may relocate it .
Do many people manage to keep Poinsettia's looking good ? I have very little success with them.

Hi LadyM. , I've moved it to Flowers & Plants for you. I think in general people treat poinsettias as a throw away annual plant but they will come back year after year if you just give them a bit of a trim after flowering & don't over/under water/leave in a draught. I've got one I've had a couple of years, it looks quite bare & pathetic at the moment but hopefully will spring back to life again soon.

Thankyou Sue & to Sweetpea for volunteering Esther . Hello Ladym Sweetpea is naughty as he knows I am not keen on Poinsettias after having had to look after hundreds of them at work over the years I think Sue is right about treating them as an annual plant. To get the colouring back after the first year takes a bit of work by giving them certain amounts of daylight from about September and for me I wouldn't have the patience. If I was going to buy one - which I am not I would buy a fresh one each year.
