Awful week weather wise with day after day of rain, however Wednesday luckily was a lovely day, the two previous being awful at times torrential rain. It's raining again today!
Anyway, here are a few views and some plants from Bide-a Wee.
View towards Netherwitton from the entrance gate. Beautiful Northumberland countryside.Ferula communis (Giant Fennel) up near the house.Thalictrum heavenThe Honey bees loved the white one in particularLovely vistas across the garden and pondVarious spots to sit and take in the viewsSpotted Hawkweed (Leopard Hawkweed) seeding everywhere! Still a dainty plant and as it's grown for its leaves, you can cut the flowers off though I like them too. Euphorbia mellifera about 10ft high. The flowers had gone over but the smell of honey was still evident.Cornus 'Porlock'An ornamental Persicaria (Not Japanese Knotweed) a good 8-9ft tall. Lovely frothy upright flower heads.Bridge over the pondLots more to see that I didn't photo and as in any great garden, there are more things to flower later. The Tropaeolum both red and orange (T. speciosum and T. cilliatum) scrambling through various plants and conifers were close to opening. Many perennials to flower later too so will just have to go back again!

Looks beautiful Fractal & you did get lucky with the weather! I keep meaning to get a white thalictrum as I've seen it a few times in gardens & it is always covered with bees & other insects.
