Lily Beetle control, Help..

How can I keep the Red Lily Beetle's off my Lily's??
Any types of spray or something??
Help please...

Hi, welcome to the forum. I find the easiest thing is to squash them lbuddle but you have to make sure they don't drop off as you try to catch them as they land on their backs showing their dark undersides so that you can't spot them on the soil! Keep an eye out for tiny red/orange eggs on the underside of leaves & the horrible larvae which ressmble bird poo & wipe them off. There are sprays available but I don't use any so can't recommend one & suspect you'd have to know exactly when to spray in the lily beetle lifecycle.

I think Provado Ultimate bug killer does them in if you don't mind a chemical method, I pick them off and squash them too, nature helped us by giving them bright red coats but like SueA says they do tend to quickly drop off on to their backs if they sense they are under attack

Try using neem oil or insecticidal soap. Both work well for red lily beetles. Just make sure to spray the undersides of the leaves too!
