Hi, I have an 18 month old laurel hedge which I pruned (for the second year) in early spring. It has thrown out plenty of new growth but some of the new leaves are turning black at the edges. I suspect wind damage but would appreciate superior knowledge. Thanks in advance

I have seen the same wind damage on the fresh new growth on a laurel hedge next door, it was that very cold windy couple of days about a week or so ago, it did the same to a couple of vines a magnolia and kiwi vine of mine too
