A couple of friends called in yesterday. Both brought me a carrier bag of plums. Neither knew the other was coming so I was faced with a mountain of plums. I have made 8lb of jam and bottled another 8. I still have lots to go but not sure what I am gong to make: crumple is a given as is upside down cake. Sadly no space in the freezer.
Suggestions please.

That sounds like a lot of plums! I only tend to make crumbles with them but how about plum chutney - plums, onions, spices, red wine vinegar, brown sugar, etc.?

Not plums this time but apples. I now have 6lbs of sliced and pureed apples in the freezer and a large crumble for pud last night and a cinnamon and apple cake for today's coffee.
