Just a quick message to wish you all a happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year. I have enjoyed your friendship and sharing your garden trials and tribulations. I am going to my eldest daughter's for Christmas. It will be strange not cooking tomorrow. Though today I will be making a lasagne to take for tea tonight. I am also making mince pies, a Cointreau trifle [dont like sherry!] and taking the Christmas cake that I made back in October. No sure if I will be on line tomorrow but I will be back home on Boxing day.

Hubby and I had a lovely time but it was nice to be back in my own bed last night. Hope you all had a good Christmas too.

I have hardly been at home for the last couple of days as we spent a lot of time with our daughter & gkids who live in a village not very far from here. Hope everybody enjoyed their Christmas.

mayhem in our house since Tuesday, loved every minute of it with the grandkids, they go home this morning, it's just a shame the weather has been awful and we've not been able to get out
