The pond is lovely and clear and the fish have been quite active and are happy to come up and feed. The glass like quality of the water gave some great reflections of the beech tree. I did loose quite a few fish to a local heron last year, before I realised it was back. One of the larger fish still bears the scars from her close encounter.

great photos seaburn I know what you mean about the heron, one here virtually wiped mine out a couple of years ago, I now have a net over permanently as they seem to be a regular in the village once they have young to feed

well the fish are hungry and feeding well. Well they were until a local heron keeps flying by. It lands on the grass and cant get in the pond due to containers on the wall. So they are understandably nervous.
