Hello, I am Rhoda. I have a letter in Amateur gardening this week about the snail mail Gardening Friends Club I started 13 years ago. Members write a letter every month that I collate and put together to create a news letter. In addition to the letters there are prizes to be won for the best letter, A monthly quiz, monthly limerick competition etc. Lasting friendships have been made and for some who cannot get out and about the newsletter droping through the letterbox is like having a friend drop in.

Welcome Rhoda, Steve has put a little message about your club as well in the section 'this week's gardening mags.' under 'General Gardening', it sounds like a great project especially for older gardeners who may not be keen on the internet.
