Please don't take this question as being facetious in any way - but why do you both (Tel especially) need to grow so many of the same types? Is it to be able to choose the best blooms for showing? I grow 120 plants, 18 varieties, between six and eight of each variety. I time the blooms by using side buds, so i work on the theory that if i grow 8 plants of a variety and aim for one good bloom on each, that'll do a vase of five and a vase of three.
