well back from my first show and managed to get a red card in the mini ball class( there was 8 other entries) with 3 marys jomanda.Entered the small dec class with joan walker and the small semi cactus class with oakwood goldcrest but both stands had 2 nice blooms and 1 younger bloom so I had no luck there.
Phil watson won the small dec (leopold chloe),the small cactus(kiwi gloria),the 3 vases of 5 mediums (with 15 eastwood moonlight),the 3 vases of 5 small/minis(with 10 kiwi gloria and 5 marys jomanda) the lagre cactus/semi cactus with kenora challenger(bronze medal) and the small ball with westerton folly(hoping to get some of this for next year its a beauty).The raiserof westerton folly gordon hodgson won the best dahlia exhibit in show with grace kendall.

I have a show Saturday but looking at this weather I'm not sure what I will be able to take,the wind is really doing some damage. I was hoping to show the professionals that I had improved,I wasn't hoping to win just improve on last year would have done me

I would have been doing Harden Beck this Sunday, but i am giving it a miss this year,
