It is the size of a small, Scrumpy. I want to see if the center of the bloom closes up, i would not think it would reach the Medium size, but it would be more suited to that, if it could. If it was on sale in a garden centre, i think customers would buy it for their garden though. ;D Ps these seedlings do not have to be a show variety, we are looking for a dahlia, that the members on here would grow in their garden, if they liked dahlia,s.  |

I found this dahlia seedling growing in the garden. I did not plant it there, the only thing i can think off is that the seed was in the compost i brought from the allotment. Maybe this could turn out to be the best of my seedlings. ;D  This seedling is going to be a Decorative It should be fully out at the weekend. The colour is the same as the first dahlia i bought 20 years ago Barbarry Pinky, it could be a seedling from it. Will post a pic of it when it is fully out. |
